Mother's Helper is located in Windsor Ontario. Diane is a certified labour doula and has been teaching baby wearing, and the art of baby wearing to the locals in the area since 1997.
This website has classy baby carriers, AND information to assist you in your pregnancy Birth and parenting journey. We can all be better parents by responding to our babies cues and needs.

What to look for in a child carrier :

When purchasing any sling, look to see if it is easily adjustable. A sling that is hard to tighten or loosen will frustrate you.
Pick a fabric and colour that reflects your personality- or the person you are getting it for.
With several styles of carriers to choose from, you can position your baby in a plethora of different ways. Most carriers will accommodate from infant to a toddler (weighing up to 35 or 40 pounds). The rings that I use are purchased from two places, one is my secret and the other is from Sling Rings.com. Both companies test their rings to many thousands of pounds through pull testing. I am confident in the quality merchandise I use and sell.Make sure that when purchasing a carrier from anyone that you see this same standard.

    Disclaimer

All of my carriers are hand cut. Hand assembled and machine hand sewn. There will be slight variations in stitching, back stitching and top stitching on the carriers.
I use canvas for my piggy pack fabric. If you have a patterned print on one side you will NOT see the X box of reinforced stitching on the inside of the carrier.(a third layer)
I always put a canvas inner layer inside of carriers that are not canvas prints. I ALWAYS use either an X box, a box with 1 line or a triangle.
Sometimes this is hidden inside. If you ever have any doubt (or questions) about safety, quality, comfort or anything else concerning my products, PLEASE contact me.
I expect my ring slings to last more than a year of regular daily proper use. I recommend gentle wash and hanging to dry. I have no control over fabric that is not holding up to washers that agitate fabric rigorously, twisting and pulling it causing it to become delicate. PLEASE check your carrier before each use to insure there are no rips or tears.
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING A TORN CARRIER
I am not responsible for misuse, or incorrect wearing of any of my carriers.
