Lactation Services

I offer Breastfeeding Counseling Services at the hospital, or in the comfort of your home.
I have 14 years experience. (I am not a board certified Lactation Consultant). I am very experienced in assisting with all types breastfeeding techniques, and have seen many breastfeeding difficulties. I have found that most of the difficulties that I have seen can be managed and repaired quite quickly.
I have taken Lactation Educator courses, have attended work shops by Dr Jack Newman and lactation consultant Edith Kernerman, and many others. I try to attend the most current classes and conferences so that I can better serve the community. I have also attended La Leche League meetings for around 14 years.
When families have the best support, and the most current information, they are better able to cope when the baby comes. I have read many books on breastfeeding, and have a very wide scope of resources and education. You can contact me by phone when problems first arise please call promptly, many are fixable with free telephone help. I am able to rent hospital baby scales and breast pumps (if required) No one should suffer with painful nursing.
