    Piggie Pack

    Piggie Pack

    $70.00

    Comfortable for Babies

This carrier is one of the simplest of designs. It goes back through time in many different cultures. I started to experiment with making them around the fall of 2003. I had been given a podegai in 2002 and I had modified it to suit my needs. After much trial and error I came up with my pattern. Much like the others now on the market, It is a simple rectangle with four straps. You simply tie baby on your front or your back. There are no gadgets to break, no clips or snaps or rings.

There are lots of baby carriers on the market that allow you to carry your baby on your front and back. However, very few of them actually hold your baby in a way that supports his spine properly, or allows for the best hip growth. Most frame carriers have your baby's legs dangling straight down, and cause pressure on the baby's delicate neck muscles and spinal cord. The Piggie Pack has a wide area that the baby sits in so that it holds the baby's legs out properly and keeps the knees up higher supporting the natural curve of the back. The Piggie Pack can be used with a baby from newborn until well into their toddler years.

    Comfortable for Parents

These styles of carrier, are among some of the most comfortable carriers out there. This type of carrier holds baby's weight over both of your shoulders (crossing between your shoulder blades and has two more straps at your waist. You should be able to wear this carrier for hours with out feeling any pain or discomfort. Carriers like this can be used by all torso types and all torso sizes, from XS to XL.

    An Art Worth Learning!

You will find that you need to practice once or twice before you really get the hang of it--but you will not be disappointed. Once baby is in, you will both be comfortable and happy.

New and improved Chest strap. It's now adjustable.

    size
Does your Mei Tai feel like the straps are sliding off your shoulders? Lots of men and a few women feel this way. It is caused by slender or sloping shoulders. The chest strap can really give you more comfort. Made of quality nylon and sturdy clips, this will give you the feeling of extra security. The Chest strap is being made now with a white ring at the end of it for more easy adjusting. It is adjustable as well. You can use your strap for keeping the carrier nice and contained, as a chest strap or as a seat belt in a store cart (if you use them)One strap many great uses.
